A focus on the moves in gold and oil
Chris Vermeulen, Founder and Editor of The Technical Traders joins me to recap the recent bounce in gold and drop in the oil price. When it comes to gold we focus on the resistance level that gold, silver, and the miners are all testing. Plus a comment on the big picture when it comes to what type of the rebound is needed. For oil we balance the volatility in the oil price and general lag of the stocks to follow oil higher.
I am salivating at the prospect of oil moving down to $52 zone. I have a buy list of mostly Canadian plays that I wanna to own, but I have been waiting.
Marty – Yes, it was quite a move higher today in Fosterville South, but they haven’t even really started their drill campaign yet, and have targeted about 4-5 different prospective projects, so I’m holding holding on for some of those drill results to come in later this Summer & Fall. They are just getting geared up to get into motion…
Maybe this was just a swing trade though, where you’ll buy back in if it pulls back down again. Personally, I’m in accumulation mode of Fosterville South, and Doc mentioned he was adding yesterday. They had good news out today that was posted on the other blog today.
Sprott Money Precious Metals Projections
April 6, 2021 – The Technical Traders w/ Chris Vermeulen
“We are back with the third installment of Sprott Money’s Precious Metals Projections. Each month Craig Hemke and I take you through the key charts in what is going on not only with precious metals but other key indexes and indicators so we can determine what the general trend may be. This last quarter has been very challenging for precious metals investors with gold and silver still in a consolidation pattern since August which seems like it will never end. This consolidation seems to correlate with the 18%-20% correction and sell-off in bonds. While this may seem “scary” to some investors this downside move is historically normal and not unusual. But is there more pain ahead for gold and silver bugs or are we ready to take off? The charts tell the tale.”

Interesting. Didn’t know they started another thing on Sprott. I know Sprott brought up the Chris’ name during one of Craig’s interview with him in the past. Now the Chris and Craig show.
